It’s a big deal that Joss is writing an issue of his own comic? Or is this a sign that his involvement in the comic will continue to wane.
I quit the current series four pages into last week’s issue. Everything that I thought Joss has fixed from Season 7 has returned, from poor pacing to the focus on everyone but the core characters, and the shockingly poor scripts by Jane Espenson have not helped at all.

Simon, you’ve got to be kidding! Espenson has been a godsend, providing some of the best writing in an arc since BKVaughn. Wanna complain about the comic? Go back and read Time of Your Life. Utter nonsense.

Will see if the comic is as good as the series.

You’re wrong, Jennifer. Jane’s contribution to Buffy season 8 has been some of the worst issues. It’s total crap if I may be so frank. Joss needs to be more involved with his comic. He’s a large reason why people take an interest in it.
