TV Guide provides is with the first look at Brian Austin Green (Beverly Hills 90210, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) as John Corben, better known to Superman fans as METALLO. Thanks to this, by way of Smallville, I now have a reason to gladly stay home on Friday nights.

Metallo, man with the kryptonite heart, super villain who goes toe to toe with Superman… but still unable to close the deal with Donna Summers

I don’t understand that! What’s Donna Summer got to do with the price of peas?

Martin Gray is obviously either under the age of 25 or didn’t watch TV growing up.

Cisco, you mean Donna MARTIN (Tori Spelling), correct?

Is nobody going to say BAG looks really bad?
August 19th, 2009 at 10:51 am
Hmmm. Almost kind of a “steampunk” Metallo. All he needs is a pressure gauge sticking out of his chest, and we’re good.

BAGTALLO!
August 19th, 2009 at 1:07 pm
BAG has tapped Megan Fox. Ergo, BAG always wins. GAME OVER.

Iron Man indeed.
August 19th, 2009 at 5:25 pm
Yeah, this version of Metallo looks kinda like a steampunk version of Downey, Jr. in “Iron Man,” BUTTTT … Iron Man was certainly based at least somewhat on the original silver age Metallo (mustache and all) … so I guess turnabout’s fair play.
August 19th, 2009 at 9:15 pm
That’s not Metallo, that’s Mickey Rourke!

Who’s IronMan? Isn’t IronMan that Steel rip-off Marvel publishes? j/k Metallo looks pretty good by Smallville standards.
August 21st, 2009 at 2:43 pm
@IronFistt:Uhmmm … Steel is a ’90s character, Iron Man was created in the ’60s.
I only hope that Metallo gets the Terminator look at some point.

@FreedomKME:Uhmmm … IronFist was telling a joke, hence the j/k.
This looks bad@$$. Now I have to catch up on last season.
