Spot on – I saw the cover of the comic and thought it was some kind of Spider-Ham deal.
I actually dreamt I was reading the book last night, but didn’t enjoy it. What a saddo I am.

I like the art for all the characters with the exception of his Spider-Man and Peter Parker. Which is actually kind of important to get right.
Peter just looks too much like those effeminate Japanese anime characters with the over the top hair.

I think I might be the only person in the world who likes balloon-headed Spider-Man. I doubt it would work for every/any character (or artist attempting that kind of style) but it works for me with LaFuente’s style.

Again, why the new #1 with the balloon head. Marvel had a popular Ultimate Spider-man book and they ruin it’s momentum. Though, truth be told, I can’t understand why so many would even read Amazing Spider-man anymore, it’s the worst kind of character in the book that never delivers. It never delivered on any of its promises. It’s terrible. So, they destroy the altnernative, too. Also stupid.
