I’m definitely getting a Gladiator vibe here, from this Planet Hulk animated film — “What we do in life, echoes in gamma-ternity!”

Looks really really good!

This has potential, but considering Marvel’s track record with animated movies I’m going to remain cautiously optimistic.

@Joshua
Not a fan of Hulk Vs?

Luckily, this isn’t an origin story and Marvel’s gonna have plenty of room to really cut loose. I wonder if the Silver Savage will be in it…?

Also optimistic. Love the comics.
How cool would it be in the live action Avengers movie if Hulk is turned on the Avengers and they end up shooting him into space at the end b/c he is too dangerous and we get a Planet Hulk live action movie?
The sequel is Hulk finding a way back to Earth to pay a visit to his former Avenger pals…

“Not a fan of Hulk Vs?”
It’s certainly been their best animated fare thus far, but it wasn’t particularly enthralling. Worth a watch or two, but not something I would want to own. Had that been their first effort I’d be more enthusiastic, but they had to make half a dozen movies just to get to that point, so I’m a bit skeptical.

I have to agree with Joshua. Hulk vs. was worth watching, but not particularly engrossing, especially the Thor portion. The Wolverine portion was decent I think partially due to the inclusion of several characters.

Cautiously optimistic. The ultimate movies were barely watchable, the Iron Man movie was horrible, but the Hulk Vs. were not bad. Hopefully, this will prove to be the best of the lot. It’s weird how the current marvel animated series (iron man, spec. spiderman and wolverine and the x-men) are all fantastic but the movies have been just ok to horrible. Let’s hope WWH is the first of some truly kickass Marvel animated movies.

Well it seems good, I hope they did not change anything from the original story in the comic. Still the drawings in the comic were better but oh well, everyone uses that kind of draws in animation this days, at least is not as bad as some CN cartoons.

As a huge Hulk fan, I am very excited that they have chosen to adapt the best Hulk story EVER this way. I didn’t see the “Silver Savage” in the preview, but I can let that slide- everything else seems pretty true to the original material. I hope this leads to Marvel adapting more existing popular stories in an animated style: Marvels… Infinity Gauntlet… Secret Wars… even Kraven’s Last Hunt! If it leads to exposing these great stories to a new audience, then I am all for it.

Wow, I’m in! This looks great. I didn’t pick up Planet Hulk or World War Hulk, but I may go Back and read them now so I can watch the Movie. Honestly it looks great. Can’t wait.

actually looks better than the comic…

I also didn’t think much of the previous Marvel animated movies, the stories seemed kinda weak to me. This one definitely looks very cool imo. The suggestion of Ryan’s that Secret Wars, Infinity Gauntlet etc be made into animated movies is awesome, I hope Marvel base future prospects on proven stories.

I thought the Doc Strange direct-to-DVD title was well done. *Shrugs* I’m always happy to see the new installments of both DC and Marvel’s ventures.

It’s funny, I liked Planet Hulk and WWH. It helped that Planet Hulk was so removed from Civil War, which (to be frank) was completely awful and ruined quite a bit of the Marvel books for good. I mean, it was that bad. It wasn’t written well or concieved well. It ruined the characters and made them two dimensional, not mention the delays…
Anyway, I won’t mention that anymore. Hulk was still fun. Capcom? They do animated stuff now? I thought this was a video game. Hey, that’s a cool idea, too. They can kill Iron Man at th end.
