But in the end, your not going simply opens up a spot for somebody else. Which means nothing will really change about how the con is run until enough people speak up and speak out that change is needed. On top of that, it's these big companies who are the ones giving the con the attention, and probably also footing more of the bill. I enjoy going to SDCC - I'm here for the third time. But when I see people suggest going to a bigger venue? Even I shudder. 125k is just crazy enough for me to handle. :) You bring up a lot of good points.
