The Hollywood Reporter has announced that Fredrik Bond will be the new director for Rogue Pictures’ upcoming film, Hack/Slash.
Hack/Slash is a Devil’s Due comic created by Tim Seeley and Stefano Caselli, delving into the life of Cassie Hack, a woman who hunts down serial killers before they can kill again.
This will be Bond’s first full-length feature, after some commerical work, a 2004 short called The Mood as well as some directing work for the musician Moby.

I hope they do a good job with this movie, I personally think it would have been great as a tv show, in any case, if you are not reading this title, please try it, its a fun ride, its excellent writing and art, great story, I have 6 tpb and I am here for the long run !

It would have to be too watered-down to be a good TV show, unless HBO or Showtime did it. I’m really looking forward to the movie, though, and I agree that it’s an outstanding comic.

So stoked to finally see this is coming around!! I have loved this book from the beginning and look forward to seeing a good R rated movie of Cassie and Vlad!!
