I think that evangelline lily might be great for carrol she could carry the role.

Gerard Butler could also play an impressive kilowog but I think the rest of the casting is very spot on but i dont think that many big name actors would sign on for those smaller parts.

Reynolds can do more than just be comedic. I forgot he was in Smokin’ Aces, and he did magnificently in Chaos Theory, where my heart broke along with his onscreen character’s during the pivotal second act. I confess that I know nothing about Hal Jordan, but I’m a convert to the belief in Reynold’s talent, for whatever it’s worth (this from a guy who thought his introduction into the Blade trilogy was unfortunate).

Hmmm….come on.. I know these pretend casting things are fun to do, but what makes them fun is the possibility that it could happen. There is not a chance in H3ll that any of this would happen. ON top of that this is just some really bad casting to begin with.

Ryan as Hal at first i couldnt see but i think he’ll make a great hal i’m excited thinking about it love to see him interact with Christian and Brandon I could see Christian being annoyed by him as Batman. Hugh as Sinistro is brilliant makes perfect sense and wouldnt he be more of a mentor then Abin Sur? idk I didnt really get into GL unitl Kyle and then again untiil rebirth. FOr Kilawog I thought Micheal Clark Duncan but then i also thought him for Killer Croc but VIn diesel works to! I love the cast for the rest of the lanterns well maybe not salaak but JOhn Cho is a good choice for tom. Finally who saw Justin Timberlake as a good choice for Hal Jordon at the studio? I mean how? he’s to goofy he doesnt seem to give off that over confidence that hal has or anything Hal Jordon like

I like most of the options except for Vin Diesel. Too bad Nathan Fillion couldn’t be Hal Jordan though, seems to me that would have been the best cast ever since they choose Christopher Reeve for Superman. some other choices could be Ben Browder as Guy Gardner, Ed Begley Jr as Alan Scott and maybe President Obama as John Stewart (he looked a lot like Stewart in the first two seasons of the JLA animated series!)…but it would only work if Stewart were on his solo-movie, cause Obama would steal the show

I’m starting to believe that Ryan Reynolds can actually pull off the lead role of Hal Jordan/GL in the live action movie of Green Lantern. The more I look at certain photographs (for example, the one referenced atop this article), I can see him behind GL’s emerald mask. The suggestions for the supporting cast appears to be well-thought out, as well. I can see ALL of these “potentials” doing quite well in fulfilling the roles, to which this article recommends. The only problem with this “dream” cast unfortunately, is that IF it came to pass, it would have to be one of the most expensive, star-studded cast ever assembled. Anthony Hopkins’ fee alone would top the combined salaries of most lead/supporting actors appearing in major motion pictures these days. I’m just happy to see that there “appears” to be positive movement towards finally bringing Green Lantern to the big screen. For that, I am happy.

And to Gwydion Frost, Mark Walberg as Guy Gardner, that’s an excellent choice! I can see that too.
