Wow. $50? I was fortunate enough to snag the last copy from my shop (I planned to buy it thanks to the preview in an earlier issue of TWD). Does anyone else ever own something and find out later that it’s now going for an exorbitant amount and you get a mixture of relief and a feeling of, “Man, if I had missed out, I’d be totally screwed right now.” Kind of like when I decided to pass on Kick-Ass 1 and had to pay about $20 for it later. The downside is, I now buy things I’m only mildly interested in right off the bat just on the off chance that they’ll be underprinted and catch fire.

I wanted to pick this series up so bad and I had it on hold at my comic shop but somehow my pre-order got lost and I never received it in my on-hold bag. Now I’d have to buy it for $50 off eBay. Believe me when I say I’m quite ticked off about this. I guess I’ll just trade-wait now. Can’t wait to read it!
