Is Jessica Biel in talks for Thor?

Nuke the Fridge is reporting that Blade: Trinity’s Jessica Biel is in talks for the upcoming Thor film.

Here’s the highlight of what they have to say:

Reportedly if cast, Biel will play the love interest of “Thor.” The most probable love interest for “Thor” would more than likely be “Jane Foster,” a nurse and girlfriend of “Thor” alter ego Donald Blake. But the problem is that our source was not sure of the character’s name, but seemed to believe it was the same female character from the animated “Hulk vs Thor.” If that is the case, since “Jane Foster” was not in the animated movie, Biel is more than likely playing either “Amora, The Enchantress” or “Sif.”

Granted, at this early stage in the game, everything is still rumor, and even if Biel is in talks, they could fall through at any point. While I know a lot of sites are betting she’d play Sif, I really can’t imagine her going brunette. And remember that in Blade Trinity, her battle preparation was uploading songs to her iPod.

Let’s hope she does her own stunts in this film. I hated the close up angle. I want action done by the people playing the roles, and I want the camera pulled back so I can see it. Blade 2, not Blade 3!

  2. Vinnie Bartilucci Says:

If she could act, Nigella Lawson would rock the world as Sif.

    I hope not.

I heard she did a good job in the “Illusionist” as a actress. Beside she is of german descent(directly). Remember Norse(ie Germanic)mythology. Ya Ya Chris Hemsworth is of anglo-saxon descent-germanic. Still he came from Australia which have no history of germanic gods worship unlike sweden(Alexander Skarsgard). I would mind either Heidi Klum or Malin Akerman as the enchantress. They are both actresses w/ germanic blood. If you think I am race conscious then what about the various hypocrital americans who only want a american for Captain America. Thor, by the same logic, should have been Alexander Skarsgard.

By the way I am not completey “whitewash”. I would love Marvel comic to introduce the chinese god of Houyi(lord of archery) as a member of the avengers. He could fight other gods including Chiyou(god of war and storm), Chiye(goddess of the sun, as well as other chinese gods and those of other pantheons.. The problems is some koreans worship him(Chiyou) as a good guy even though only because of a forged 1970 historical book written in the 1970 or a little earlier whic describe him as a god emperor of korea. Grek Paik(if he is biased) may not go for it(not to offend koreans). This despite the rabid anti-chinese racism in korea. You can’t called me biased since I came from vietnam which was somewhat brutally ruled by China for 1,000 years.

    Hello,

I just can’t believe someone can be this conceited…I mean she is attractive but not beautiful or gorgeous like she describes herself, it really bugs me how she goes about her ego. And come on not getting jobs becaue of her “great looks” what a joke.
She is not that great looking in the face, Hollywood is full of MUCH more beautiful women than her…sorry I am not famous but I think I look better than her…and don’t mean to brag people always compare me to Angelina Jolie who has that classic European beauty look, (after all mommy was a French beauty).
I think Jessica really needs to humble down; she has a big mouth which stretches too far when she smiles those fake looking teeths… and she is just kind of cute, if you are reading this Jess no offense but you are a fairly average looking gal face wise, but your body is a knockout.
