I didn't like the first one, thinking it was immensely over-rated, so I didn't bother with the sequels. Public Enemies looks terrific though. Being a Tim Burton fan, however, I'm looking forward to Alice and Dark Shadows very much. Oh, and I'll likely see Public Enemies, too. I was angry that I sat through all that for what amounted to be a wannabe Empire Strikes Back for the Pirates franchise without nearly the power and emotional impact that ESB had. For me, though Depp's character was likable enough, it was hard to feel bad for a scoundrel to get it in the end when he never fully redeemed himself along the way. The third managed to get the bad taste of the second out of my head, though.
