Lost alum Maggie Grace, whose character Shannon has long since taken the big dirt nap in the series, is headed to Hawaii soon to…well, nobody’s quite sure. The TV Guide article on the matter has so many people denying the notion of her making a return to the hit ABC show in so many ways, that really the notion can only be either absolutely true or complete fanboy speculation with no basis in reality. Which one, according to TV Guide, is totally up to the reader to decide.

Given the effective “reset” done at the end of Season Five, it wouldn’t be at all out of the question to have Shannon hale and hearty (and hot and pouty) for Season Six.

The series 5 finale suggested a number of different ways the actress could appear on the show again… including one rather more obvious than the others.

I suspect that, in one form or another, we’ll see a whole bunch of dead (or is that “fomerly dead”?) characters in Lost’s final season. Remember Locke (who’s also currently dead) once saying that “Nothing stays buried on this island.”
While I can go without seeing Nikki (even though she’s HOT), Paulo, Dr. Arzt or Neil Frogurt ever again, that may end up being the case!

@ Kimota94: “Reset”? We don’t know that for certain… We don’t know what happened at the very end of the episode, or if the bomb actually detonated or not. I think TPTB want us to think that it did, but I’m not entirely convinced. It’s definitely a possibility though.

Except the show made very clear that “Whatever Happened, Happened”. Jack’s a moron, nothing they could do could change history.

Good point, Shaun. I should have written “the potential Reset”, since we don’t know for certain yet. That scenario is simply one of the more obvious ways in which Shannon could be returning.
