One spoiler though,…the Vampirella piece( she is sitting in front of a rotted out tree/w a storm sky background),shown in the 1st few pages printed with the gutter running right through the piece,…damn, it should have printed as a full page. That is one of my all time favorite painting by Joe-Zilla. It’s a stunning piece’o'work,…I even tried to trade Joe 2 of my paintings for it, but he wanted geenbacks. The litho- print of it hangs in my studio so I am appeased to a degree.

Again,…go out and but this book!

YACOB: agree totally…thats the thing with time travel…when they actually do invent a machine…maybe the rules will be completely different. when we did it in ash, we made it that only machines and not people could go back in time…lol…for now, its all fantasy.

The following statement isn’t aimed at anyone in particular so don’t flame me:

Let’s just call a spade a spade. In general, people didn’t like T3 because Cameron wasn’t involved and they knew they weren’t gonna like it before they saw it (it was fairly well reviewed anyway). They didn’t like T4 because neither Cameron nor Schwarzenegger were involved and McG directed (everyone knows that it’s almost as fanboy chic to hate on McG as it is to hate Brett Ratner and Michael Bay). Same for the SW prequels (which do suck, but the whole damn franchise does too) and Crystal Skull (which was very well-recieved critically and still is, but fanboys are notorious for rewriting history, see: Star Wars ever being any good).

I’m sorry you had a bad experience with Aliens Vs. Monsters, but a good rule of thumb is that games based on movies usually bite big time. The exception is the Wolverine game I hear…

And I love IKEA! At least when it’s not overcrowded.

I agree 100% with your review of “Drag Me To Hell.” Everyone should go see it!

In speaking of this film, Mega Shark vs Giant Squid how did you fail to mention Lorenzo Lamas? That and the fact that he and Debbie Gibson will most likely be making tongue knots somewhere near the beginning of the second half of the film.

Lorenzo Lamas might even cup her boob and make an ‘O’ face as they tastefully fornicate in an alternate universe populated by extreme close-ups, soft lighting, and cross dissolves.

This is what happens when one fights a Mega Shark or a Giant Squid — you get horny.

While I didn’t think “Terminator: Salvation” was great, I did enjoy it more than “Rise of the Machines”. However, I think Sam Worthington as Marcus Wright and Antony Yelchin as young Kyle Reese easily outshined Bale in this flick. Definitely looking forward to “Drag Me To Hell”, and your assessment makes me even more excited!

I watched the “Mega Shark…” trailer a few weeks ago and yeah, I got a good chuckle out of it.

And okay, I gotta say…if Brandon was brave enough to suffer through an IKEA shopping experience, you owe that man more than a lunch…you are forever in debt to him. I say this as if I am Joe Piscopo in “Johnny Dangerously”… “I went to IKEA with my wife once…ONCE!”

And most of the times, games made for kids are crap. Because, you know, they are kids. It’s not like they were asking good quality product. You just give them a sticker and then, voilà, the video game is sold !

I mean there is not a better to make them play the game during 5 minutes and then quitting. Waste of time, waste of money and lack of attention. Winning combo for making people dumber than they are.
