Meh. I think RandomGuy’s youtube videos are better.

i admit, i’m a little biased because of the protectiveness i feel as a longtime viewer of itsjustsomerandomguy, who invented (to my knowledge) the superhero-toy-youtube-comedy shtick with his ‘i’m a marvel, i’m a dc’ and later vids.
but that was pretty subpar.

“meh?” “subpar?” Did we watch the same video? The miniature design, lighting, and lip-sync were nearly the quality of Robot Chicken’s best work. If this is what the first episode looks like, then I can’t wait to see what else they’ll do.

I’d actually say the animation in this is was better than Robot Chicken, seeing as how they actually animated the mouths here instead of just gluing incredibly cheap-looking paper cut-outs over the figures faces.

Wow, that was pretty corny

oh, don’t get me wrong; the animation was real good. and, taking that into account, i would rather watch something genuinely funny.

…which, i should specify, isn’t to say this was terrible. just…meh. particularly since the concept was done so much better by some dude in his basement, and this is the official version.

High-quality animation, atrocious everything else.

The joke about Cyclops’ boyhood dream was honestly the worst part.
“A boy who likes something girly” is the most tired of jokes.
