This should not be preserved. This should be handed around and read until it dossolves like the books in George Pal’s The Time Machine.

As for the reprint, I’m hoping for a ridiculously oversized book like Scott McCloud did for the first printing of DESTROY! or the one done years back of captain marvel and the Monster Society of Evil.

Looks great. Really looking forward to this. As a side note, I think it’s hilarious how 10 percent of the audience is profoundly perplexed by the ramifications of the format – HOW THE HELL AM I GOING TO PRESERVE THIS IN MY COLLECTION???

May I suggest, just read the things, and pass them along to someone who might enjoy them but would never see them otherwise?

Considering the other artists they have on tap for this project, Eduardo Risso, Ryan Sook, Mike Alred, Lee Bermejo, and Joe Kubert, it would seem that the audience they are targeting for this is “children of all ages”.

I, for one, cannot wait for this ‘Wednesday’ to come.

They had me at “Ben Caldwell”. Not to take away from any other creator but I buy anything he does. With him on Wonder Woman… well, his art on the youth novel Wonder Woman: The Contest left me wanting to see him handle her in sequentials. Now I can! I win!

Gee, It’s too bad DC won’t let artists like this on their regular monthly titles. I haven’t collected any DC titles in over a year because of the “Jim Lee” house style they’ve adopted on most of the books.

The Wonder Woman stuff strays quite far from the mainstream comic while the others are pretty close to their originals. I wonder why.

Some of the other stuff I’ve seen is edgier, more adult – oriented. The cartoony stuff doesn’t interest me, personally, but that’s a GOOD thing. This project SHOULD be diverse. A little something for everyone, just like the Sunday funnies it’s patterned after. I wasn’t planning on reading the Wonder Woman pages anyway.

I’d rather have a young Alan Scott, but with Hal fronting one of the best selling books and the upcoming movie its better to have him. Really excited to see the takes on many of these, but especially Hawkman.

Because of Teen Titans Go (and all the color) I think that artist will work well. He’ll at least have more pallet room to breath than Spidey’s red and blue.

You say that as if it’s a BAD thing.

If this thing is reasonably priced, it could be a real hit.

IF they can get it into the hands of new readers.

This DESPERATELY needs publicity to the mainstream.

Caldwell’s take on Wonder Woman looks interesting. For the rest, while I don’t actively dislike anything there, I’m indifferent to either the art or the characters on each of them.
