Primeval remains daft fun for all the family, but Survivors - oh dear, not a patch on the Seventies original, it doesn't even have a similarly chilling title sequence and theme music. Tell me, does BBC America give US viewers the whole show or are cuts made for hour-long slots? Cos while Doctor Who is 50 minutes in the UK, so will fit an hour, and Primeval airs on commercial channel ITV1 (ie it's not a BBC show), Being Human and Survivors are full hours of drama.
