Gald to hear it will survive. My wife and I love the movie series. The bigger battle in Prince Caspian were awesome. Eddie Izzard and Peter Dinklige(sp?) stole their respective scenes. The two remaing kids Edmund and Lucy are the most interesting so I’m glad the actors are signed back on. Very happy it won’t go the way of other book-to-movie childern’s fanatasies of late.

Geez, I was happy with the prospect of this movie series dying. The last movie just left me angry at the end, so I won’t be seeing any more of them.

I think the “Dawn Trader” will have difficulty achieving box office success, due to its somewhat quirky storyline in comparison to the two previous movies/books. In that respect Disney did wisely in pulling the plug!

I still think the “Dawn Trader” has the most potential of the books in making an awesome movie

Hmm… is this the SAME Fox that nickels and dimes every production, pulls creative control AWAY from creative types and places it directly in the hands of executives, and has cheapened/pissed on/generally wrecked every franchise they’ve put their grubby mitts on?

Wow… can’t WAIT for the next film!

Personally, I’d rather they wait about 5 years, then start over and do the whole thing right. The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe had a few good moments, but overall wasn’t great, and Prince Caspian was pretty much unwatchable. Note to Fox: Narnia is NOT Lord of the Rings.

I thought that the 2nd movie was better than the first one; the thing was that I did not get to see it in the theaters. Not sure about anyone else but I felt it was not as well promoted as the first movie was.

This is good news.
The production value has been superb on these movies. And they’ve been really enjoyable to watch.
Hope they can keep up the quality at Fox.
