Well you know if you dread seeing this film or agree with Moore that it shouldn’t be made, you don’t have to see it.

That’s what’s really baffled me over the last few months, the ardent comments made by many against this film. No matter how good or how bad this movie may or may not be, it will have NO effect on the original material.

NONE.

The original (first mini series) then collected graphic novel will always stand on it’s own. Those who believe it should always be seen in that format can. They DON’T have to see the movie. Ever.

I’m one of those so called “Watchmen fans”, as they put it. I’m not looking forward to this movie. *gasp*

I still fear that the released product will be craptacular (on a scale of “The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen” to “The Dark Knight”, I’m guessing that it’s going to be closer to the former than the latter), but at least now we’ll all get to see it and draw our own conclusions.
