Author Lucas Siegel

If you haven’t checked out the book that Sarah called “The Definite Bush Era Fiction” Khepri.com is ready to help you out. Right now, they have the first five volumes (all that have been released to date) for 43 bucks and change. That’s less than ten bucks a volume, and a real steal to get you up-to-date on this awesome Vertigo series. If you’re caught up and waiting for Vol. 6, which comes out next month, they’ve got it available for pre-order at a hefty discount, as well. Check out the deals here, and don’t say we never gave you anything.

  1. Jason Thibault Says:

This truly is the killer read of the last 2 years. Brian has truly put together an amazing comic experience and whenever they use fill-in artists you get amazing people like Nathan Fox and Danijel Zezelj. This is comix done right.

  2. Yawn Says:

I’m sure it will be canceled to make room for more grown men where underware on the outside books.

  3. Jim Says:

Vertigo doesn’t really have much of that, Yawn. Try to get educated about it.

  4. majorjoe23 Says:

Hasn’t Wood said it will end somewhere around 50 or 60, like most Vertigo series?

  5. Brian Wood Says:

Wood has not said that, no.

Wood has tentatively eyeballed the 65-70 neighborhood as a possible end point, but has not set it in stone in case he wants it to run longer.

  6. Yawn Says:

I’m “educated” enough about this awful industry.Go read super underware I’m sure it will be around for years to come.

  7. Eric Arsenault Says:

Wood better continue with DMZ for a long while, its pretty simple; he writes it, I buy the TPB = everyone wins !

Northlanders by Wood is also good, cant wait for tpb 2. Get the first one folks, its 10$ for 8 issues, you cant go wrong !

And I still need to buy his massive Local HC from Oni Press after I bought one for a friend.

In short, I like that writer, always feels like that its money and time well spent.

Scalped by Jason Aaron is also an amazing title from Vertigo.

And I am expecting great things from the new Unknown Soldier also.
