If 20th Century Fox owns the movie rights to Watchmen, why is Warner Brothers still able to release promotional videos such as this without first locking up the movie rights? And you’re right, MySpace is indeed owned by Fox. If I didn’t know better, I would think this was all a ploy between the two studios to drum up publicity.

That video really reassured me that Zack Snyder knows what he’s doing. The first trailer blew me away but the second one had me wondering a bit if the changes they’ve made in adapting it went beyond merely cosmetic changes.

Eric, it shouldn’t start automatically. It doesn’t on any of my browsers, and you’re the first person to mention it.

Fox doesn’t own all the rights, what the pre trial motion said was they had a peice of the copyright for the film, which gives Fox the ability to if they choose to A) a portion of the films gross B0 Tie up the movie in litigation delaying it’s release until a final determination is made by the court.
