Asylum Press, which we just made a quick post about a few days ago, announced today that it had signed a book distribution deal with Partners Publishing Group.
“We are very excited to be working with PPG to bring our books to an entirely new audience outside the comic book store world,” said Asylum publisher Frank Forte in a press release. “The graphic novel industry is exploding and we are poised to produce some groundbreaking new titles.”
Scheduled to be immediately released are Satan’s 3-Ring Circus of Hell, Ren and Stimpy co-creator Jim Smith’s Deadly Are The Naked, the Chestacles Sketchbook, and Steve Mannion’s The Bomb. Warlash: Dark Noir, Farmhouse, and the Asylum of Horrors will be released in 2009.
Partners Publishing Group has worked with several independent comic companies in the past, including Active Images and Alterna Comics.
