I LOVE Jonah Hex and really LOVED Monolith. Now I'm just waiting for DC Direct or Mattel to make a Monolith toy. Hey, we finally got Blue Devil and soon will have Vigilante, so it's possible.

Jimmy - If you read this, I just wanted to say thanks for HEX. It's absolutely one of the best books out there and everything I want in a comic - fantastic artwork, great characterization and plotting, and damn entertaining to boot. It's got heart and humanity in equal measure with bullets and blood. And the artists have been fantastic.

I also love the format. No heinous dozen-part crossover "events" means it's easy to pick up and hard to put down. Even when I read the superhero stuff more than I do now (not so much these days) I hated comics too mired in continuity. I love the idea of a self-contained (again, no crossovers!) title that rewards you with every purchase.

I agree with everyone above... if HEX gets canceled, it'll be a sad day for everybody. We'll fight for you.

Thanks!

Just wanted to pop in to say thanks to you and the whole TERRA crew... It is, in my own ever so humble opinion, the best book DC is currently putting out, and i hope to see the character around for a while to come. Seeing how well this team works together has me even MORE excited about the Power Girl series than i already was, which was pretty bloody excited i assure. So yeah, thank you for the great work.

P.S. The story in MK vs. DC was great! So, thanks for that as well!

Hey Jimmy, I’ve read a lot of your DC stuff and really like it. I really liked Freedom Fighters and hope you guys get to do some more of that. I loved Daniel Acuna’s art but I also really appreciated and liked that the stories had a political slant without feeling that any one viewpoint was being pushed, that’s very hard to do. Also, I’m loving Terra right now. Amanda’s art is just awesome; it’s fun and sexy and expressive all at once.

PS. It’s not all the auto makers fault, unions and the government has played a strong hand. It’s no coincidence that foreign brands built in the US are making money in non-unions shops with low government interference. Just my 2 cents…

Ok, I'm totally jealous that Mr. Palmiotti gets to go to his back yard and pick oranges any time he wants one. I live in Florida, and I can't even do that!!!

As you can tell by my name and pic, I'm a huge Jonah Hex fan....and I scorn all those who do not give the book a chance!

Come on, we've all been saying it for years now. Jonah Hex rules, and all of you should be reading it!!

Every issue of Hex is brand new classic. I hope it goes on forever.

Jimmy Palmiotti needs to be elevated towards the top of the DC writing staff. Not to be negative but there are a lot of duds writing DC comics these days and it is a wonder to me that Palmiotti (and Justin Gray) aren't given more high profile books.

Hi Jimmy,

I'm sorry to hear that Jonah Hex is potentially on the cancellation block. I for one purchase both the regular issues and the trades. I have a couple questions for you with regard to this title...

1) What books, films, and/or websites are you and Justin using in order to conduct historical research for this title?

2) Could you publish a wishlist of artists you'd like to see on Hex? You've done so on other podcasts, but I'd like to see it in print. Should you wish for a fan perspective on this point, I would love to see Tony DeZuniga return to the book once in a while. I'd also be interested in seeing John Severin, John Paul Leon, Sergio Cariello, Amanda Conner, and Steven Dillon get a crack at the character. As always, I wish you the best. Bye for now.

 Sincerely,

 Patrick Herman

Hey Jimmy!

just popping on to say hello and Happy Holidays. Loving your current stuff, and as to PUNISHER, I think you on Dillon is almost as good as you on Amanda.. Uh, so to speak.

Give her a hug for me - hope to see you again sooner than later!

>And for all those people worrying that the book will be cancelled, keep worrying. Every single sale matters at this point.<

Given the recession, I have been worried about Jonah Hex. I was just talking with my friends the other day about this. Therefore, PLEASE PEOPLE, if you have a few bucks use it to buy some Hex so I can keep reading the only DC book I read each month. If you are tired of all of the "Big Comic events" then read Hex, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT! I promise.
