I have read all of them but Alan’s War and I own it, just haven’t gotten to it yet. The only things missing from the list in my opinion are American Widow and The Alcoholic!

I haven’t yet read Skyscrapers (it’s on reserve at the library) or Local, but I’ve read the other three.

Alan’s War is superb, possibly my favorite comic of the year.

Heavy Liquid is tremendous as well, though I find their argument for inclusion in this year’s list specious at best.

Good-Bye is very good. Not quite best of the year, in my estimation, but well worth tracking down.

Of the titles listed, Alan’s War is my favorite, it’s an outstanding story. All of them are great, however.
