Marvel has previewed a new batch of variant covers for December releases, including Captain America #45, Nova #20 and Daredevil #114.  The covers, which are beautiful, beg the question: do they actually have anything to do with what’s inside, or are they just variants for the sake of variants?  The theme is “Bring on the Bad Guys,” and the Captain America cover features–as one might expect–The Red Skull.  Problem?  Red Skull just finished being featured in a 20-ish-issue arc and fans weren’t expecting to see him pop right back up.  Will he be back in action so soon, or is it just that Cap doesn’t have any other badguy whose design is strong enough to make such a cool cover?  Anyway, enjoy a peek:
