Whoops... I didn't know this was coming out as a miniseries first. Mea culpa. I didn't get Marvels until much later, as a trade, so I tend to think of it as a GN of its own. I'll wait for the trade on this one as well, but I still think it could be great.

I'm especially curious to see how they handle Spidey in this, given how the last two decades of his stories have been effectively wiped out of Marvel history.

I didn't even know this was coming out! This might be good stuff... I'm so burned out on so many lackluster monthly floppies from The Big Two (I've dropped a crapload of books from my pull list this year and last), not to mention the endless parade of "events" that when a single, long form book like this comes out it really grabs my attention (the same way Azzarello's recent Joker GN did). I hope this can live up to Marvels.

I'm going to miss Alex Ross, but it looks like Jay Anacleto will do a nice job. I've been really disappointed with Busiek's Trinity, so I hope a book like this one brings him back to the basics. Something not nearly as convoluted and loaded with "inside baseball" as Trinity is. Looking forward to it.

First post?

With all the misbegotten sequels to classic comic events (DK2, The Kingdom, Master of the Future, Infinite Crisis) this one actually makes sense. Roger Stern being along for the ride makes me very happy.
