Reader Dale Kurt sent me a link to this absolutely hilarious take on possible spin-offs for Heroes from Scott King’s KING FILM blog. The scary thing is that all of these actually seem fairly plausible. I would definitely watch “The Company.”
Any ideas that Scott might have missed? A wacky domestic sitcom starring Mohinder and Maya called “Fly on the Wall”, perhaps? Something starring Micah, his family, and other completely abandoned characters? We could call that “Caitlin’s Friends”.
At any rate: nice job, Scott!

I would watch a light-hearted Quantum Leap style show with Hiro. I miss fun Hiro. Which is why I actually like Hiro as a 10 year old. He’s silly but a lot more fun than Hiro has been of late.

I actually did one that was “West Wing” meets “The Sopranos” focusing on the Petrelli’s… but it was so creepy I decided not to post it.

I hope Blog@ doesn’t become these kind of hokey “humor” columns.

“I hope Blog@ doesn’t become these kind of hokey “humor” columns.”
Given that your two most recent posts are under entries that you don’t like, I think the answer is, “If you’re looking for them, you’ll find them.” If you want to complain about them after you look for them and find them, as always, is between you and your schedule.
But, if you’re looking for other material, over the past three days, the new Blog@ team has posted what would’ve been a week and a half’s worth of material, from ruminations on the CBLDF’s latest case, to reviews of indy books, to citations of comics in Rolling Stone and Playboy, thoughts on whether or not anyone can make comics anymore, looks forward at this weeks’ comics, a look at February’s comics, and loads more. And yeah, admittedly, there is an absence of what everyone else is talking about, but you know, after three blogs link to the same gallery of cool Golden Age covers, how many more people need to link to it?

Funny stuff, sure. but it’s not nearly as funny as Heroes itself is. Best comedy on the tube today.
