ToonZone.net breaks it down in terms of the bonus features anticipated to be present when the Wonder Woman direct-to-DVD animated feature streets in March. There’s a range of purchase options, including single and double-DVD packages, and Blu-Ray. There are commentaries, a sneak at the next DC DVD, and three featurettes that deal with Wonder Woman’s historical import.
I wonder if any of them answer my biggest question about the trailer: why does it have such a chuckleheaded tagline? “Some heroes are made. This one was born.” Excuse me, but isn’t part of the point of Wonder Woman is that she was made? Out of clay? That’s like tagging a Batman film with “Bruce Wayne had one tragic night . . . then got to grow up in a mansion with no parents! And the party never stops!”

Batman and Superman were made into heroes by their lives. Wonder Woman was born one, due to being molded that way.
It’s not a huge deal. They’re still being true to the character.

Well, allowing me to wave my Wonder Woman flag high for a moment, I’d argue that she was molded to be a daughter by a childless queen of a childless society first, and became a hero later…
my tiara sits proudly upon my head.

You’re in Ultra Fanboy Nitpicking mode, Brownfield. Born of clay, born of woman, same difference…

“Adam D. Kline Says: You’re in Ultra Fanboy Nitpicking mode, Brownfield. Born of clay, born of woman, same difference…”
I was right there when both of my sons were born, and believe me, there’s a difference. I think that my wife will testify that sculpting the kids free-hand versus using the Play-Doh Fun Factory of life constitutes a slight variation.

LOL… Troy, having been there for my daughter’s birth I gotta side with you. I don’t really understand the tagline either. I’m not going to worry about it too much, I just hope the damned movie is good (Gotham Knight was so hit-and-miss, mostly miss). It doesn’t really make any sense though. Hopefully the script is better.
