Hey, look, it does exist … or at least six pages do, anyway. MySpace Comics has a preview up of the Kevin Smith-written Batman:Cacophony, which comes out next week.
I should note there’s a potential spoiler as to the fate of a certain fan-favorite villain in those first few pages … if you’re like me, though, you’ll probably shake your head and write it off as being not-as-it-appears.

Completely Bad-A$$ cover by Adam Kubert, but it look like a price hike for DC’s mini-series like Marvel’s been doing…$3.99 for 32 pages.

Holy cronyism, Batman! This art is not very impressive.

Yeah, said fan favorite’s writer isn’t down with him yet.

Say it ain’t so…
:(
I mean, the art’s gorgeous, and this shows promise… but couldn’t he find another villain to off?

Since Deadshot is running around in Secret Six this is either a) out of continuity or b) he’s not dead. Simple as that.

“said fan favorite’s writer isn’t done with him yet.”
I dunno, I don’t see John Ostrander writing anything with him currently.

I can’t believe no one noticed the price hike.

Maybe Deadshot can use a certain card found in Secret Six.
Did anyone tell Gail Simone that they were going to kill one of her lead characters just because Kevin Smith apparently needed a name villain to kill for probably no real good reason.

When I preordered the first issue of this, it was 40 pgs for $3.99 (or actually $.99 with DCBS discount), now it’s 32 pgs. WTF?
DC’s site has the first issue at 32 pgs, the second at 40 pgs and the third back to 32 pgs again.
Wow, someone at DC with their head up their a$$, what a shock.

That. Art. Is. Horrible.

The art ain’t all that great and who the hell said Smith could kill Deadshot?
