In case you missed the broadcast last night of Spike TV’s Scream Awards, here’s the new footage from Watchmen (which looks a lot like the trailer, with some new shots thrown in).
Barring a legal victory by 20th Century Fox, Watchmen will open on March 6.

Eh shit. Ozymandias looks like the villian, this was the twist in the book. Dr. Manhattan looks like he could give someone cancer, this was also a twist in the book.
Does Zack Snyder need someone to explain these things to him?
Oh and while I’m at it, is that “tank deconstruction” scene supposed to like it’s SFX were created in 1992 circa Lawnmower Man?

Have we learned nothing about SFX in trailers? They aren’t always finished. See the Iron Man trailer that ran on the Super Bowl. The scene were he blows up the tanks was COMPLETELY reworked by the film.
