Playboy has a large collection of Halloween-appropriate Gahan Wilson gag cartoons up, as well as some interviews with the famed macabre cartoonist. They also reveal that Fantagraphics will be publishing a three-volume collection of every single cartoon the artist has done for the men’s magazine, which will see print in 2009.

How the hell can there be no comments for this? Are people that ignorant?
This guy is one of the all-time greats of the one-panel, second only to Addams and easily the equal of Larson, and it’s great that all his Playboy stuff is being collected.
I just wish all his National Lampoon stuff, including maybe a complete “Nuts” and all his sequential stuff (which I don’t think he did much of anywhere else) could be collected as well.
