For the month of September, Mattel is showcasing the DC Comics Dolls on their Barbie Collector website, and offering three sizes of the DC Barbie desktop calendar featuring the 2008 DC Barbie line-up: Supergirl Barbie Doll, Batgirl Barbie Doll, Wonder Woman Barbie Doll, and that hussy Black Canary Barbie Doll, who is hiding her skanky legs in the back.

Wow, how funny! All the dolls are listed as Ages 6 and up. Then you get to Black Canary. The Black Canary doll is pictured from Torso up, and it says “for the Adult collector.”
Can’t all Barbies be stripped naked, anyway? Just saying.

I don’t like being under someone elses thumb. I’m very supportive of other female artists, especially those trying to make their own statement… trying to do what they want instead of being someone else’s Barbie doll.
