KentL and Aaron beat me to it. There was a pretty good Sub-Mariner mini-series just last year, and it's now in TPB. It had major consequences for Atlantis, and a great last page. I believe the new series is from the Marvel Knights line, so no idea whether it will be in continuity.

Umm... Why does "Fokke & Sokke" sound obscene to me?

@Simon: Hell yeah, we need more Hush stories! Seriously, I was always disappointed after the original (Loeb/Lee) Hush that we never got a follow-up. That crappy collection of stories titled "Hush Returns" really didn't do it. I'm just pretending those stories didn't happen, and I'll go with the current Detective arc.

Honestly, I'm enjoying that far more than the actual, main "Batman RIP" run. I'm so glad I didn't buy into that. I'm just reading them off the stand so I can see what happens. Morrison's Batman run is, IMO, the most disappointing series of comics since I came back to reading them (about 2-1/2 years ago).

"Is this the first solo outing we’ve seen since the failed “teen Namor” title from the Tsunami imprint?"

You're forgetting last year's Sub-Mariner: Revolution mini.

Hey Kids! Remember, it's "Pinky & Stinky", not to be confused with "Fokke & Sukke" .

Secret Six is one of the few good things coming out of DC at the moment. No way can I wait for the trade for that one.

Holding my breath on Fables. I really don't want to see any longtime favorites die, and I really don't want to see the war on the Adversary fail, though it's been telegraphed till now. This book is still one of my faves, but it's been missing something for about two years now. I hope that this Big Event jumpstarts things.

Also gets the Whedon Double Play of Buffy and Angel, both of which I really like but in different ways - Buffy is better and also most comfortable, Angel rough along the edges but edgier. Just like the shows wer.

And lastly, Detective Comics, even though I can't say that we need more Hush stories.

Considered Secret Six but will wait for the trade unless everyone everywhere tells me not to miss it NOW!
