it’ll be go great to see batman and superman killing their opponents.

I think only the villains do fatalities. As someone who loved the first couple of MK games way back in the 90s on my Genesis, Armageddon was a fun sendoff but this seems kind of desperate as a way to try and revive interest in a series that I think has become oversaturated (I’ve lost count of how many games have the MK logo on them).
I’d be more interested in a DC-only fighting game with more characters, weapons, etc. and costumes from various eras and classic stories.
