As a matter of fact, Birthright makes sure to squeeze it in with a mention during Clark and Lois’ first meeting, to show that Clark’s first amazing feat in civvies (Man of Steel’s Space Plane rescue) doesn’t contradict his later first appearance in costume (Birthright’s battle with the LexCorp Homeland Security droids).
