Great issue and I think I still have it some where in a box. The simple times are always behind us.

I do remember this!! I think I had a subscription for awhile. IIRC, I was the right age to be getting The Electric Company magazine. After the TV show ended its run in 1977 or ‘78 (PBS kept showing reruns well into the mid-80’s) the magazine eventually ceased publication as well. Maybe a year or two after the show?
Anyhow, I think my Electric Co. subscription was swapped out for Pizzaz. I remember Spidey on the cover, and I remember the Star Wars comics as well. What really blows my mind was the “How they shoot THE MAN FROM ATLANTIS” blurb though. LOL… I’d forgotten all about that show. Probably with good reason. The show didn’t last long, and greater success would await Patrick Duffy on “Dallas.”
Come to think of it, I don’t Pizzaz lasted all that long either.

Looks like Pizzaz lasted only a year and a half… I think I had every issue. At least most of those covers looked familiar to me. Great stuff!
