Thanks for the annotations and Busiek's contributions. Forget the whiner's - this is a lot better than Countdown, and the weekly posts are better than those interviews with the DC team. At least these annotations are informative and less bitter.

"When SCII says “I have a star within me,” he may be speaking figuratively. However, the villain Reactron, who appeared most recently in Supergirl vol. 5 #26 (April 2008)) actually does have a star within him."

See, this is why I love comics. There's a character with a star inside him. To the rest of the world that makes NO sense but to us it's just some everyday C-list villain. Okay, maybe Reactron isn't C-list...B-list perhaps...nah, he's C-list.

Oh and Sun-Chained-In-Ink is the coolest name for a new character since August General In Iron... Must be that whole 'In' thing I love so much.

I really love these annotations and Kurt's notes, they deepen my Trinity reading experience.

Michael Huff: the worst part is how they're forcing you at gunpoint to read these articles. I mean, they are, right? If not, you could just scroll past them and move on with your life instead of whining about them like a pathetic troll.

The four "new" villains are based on the characters the JLA assumed when testing Black Lightning for membership in Justice League of America #176: Primak was Zatanna, the Trans-Visible Man was the Flash, the Human Starburst was Green Lantern, and the Swashbuckler was Green Arrow. This makes me think either the "villains" aren't really all the villainous and may be heroes in disguise OR they are alt-Earth versions of the JLA.

I'll admit I was a nay-sayer ("I say, thee - nay!!!") I like weekly comics about as much as I like reality TV. The first few issues featured a character I wasn't sold on. But it has picked up. I really liked JLA/Avengers and I like the Crime Syndicate. I like Astro City. I'd like to like more Astro City...Trinity is alot like a nacho platter - make sure there's plenty of cheese on top, please! Thank you!

>> Why does Newsarama continue to lavish this series with more and more coverage? DC’s not going to be able to creatively keep up on a weekly of this magnitude. Yes, it’s good. Hell, It’s great! But everyday I look at this website and I keep seeing three or four stories on Trinity. Hasn’t the ship sailed yet? Good lord! Move on!>>

Yeah! Any comic that's been around 10 weeks is past its sell-by date! Two anna haff months is OLD, malefactor! Old enough to run as a Republican!

A couple slight corrections.

Luthor's Everyman project did work on him. The head scientist kept telling him it didn't because he thought it would be a bad idea to give Lex superpowers. But Lex eventually found out, killed the guy, and briefly had powers.

Solovar is not the current leader of Gorilla City. He was assasinated at the beginning of the "JLApe" annual event. His son, Nnambi, is the current ruler, as seen in recent issues of "Flash." Solovar is now kind of the patron saint of Gorilla City.

The ship will be sailing for several more months, so a nice steady headwind is much appreciated.

More coverage! More coverage! And cover ROBIN some more while you're at it! Let's watch Michael have a fit! ;-)

>> I think this is the first appearance of the Metal Marauders, >>

Actually, they first appeared in #8, in the form of the warcraft Superman was fighting. This is the first time they were named, though.

>> Sun-Chained-In-Ink can’t count.>>

He can, actually -- he just can't keep up with sudden changes in reality.

When scripted, there were four missing items -- we noticed that Lois's PDA should be added, and it was. But the lettering correction didn't get made, for whatever reason. I blame TVM -- reality changes around him sometimes.
