Vertigo’s Seijas lands at new MTV blog

August 5th, 2008
Author Kevin Melrose

Editor Casey Seijas has left DC/Vertigo to oversee Splash Page, MTV’s new comics/movies blog.

Seijas edited Hellblazer, and assisted on 100 Bullets, Y: The Last Man, DMZ, Scalped and other titles. He also was instrumental in bringing Percy Carey’s well-received Sentences: The Life of MF Grimm to Vertigo.

Before working for DC, Seijas was a writer and editor at Wizard magazine.

MTV launched Splash Page last month, just before Comic-Con.

On a related note, Marvel Executive Editor Tom Brevoort confirms another DC departure — one that Rich Johnston had reported last month: Associate Editor Tom Palmer Jr.

He had worked on such titles as Teen Titans, Teen Titans Go!, Green Arrow: Year One and The All-New Atom.
