According to The Hollywood Reporter, Universal has optioned 2 Guns, the BOOM! limited series written by Steven Grant with art by Mat Santolouco.

It’s the third time Ross Richie and Andrew Cosby, BOOM!’s co-founders, have teamed up with producer Marc Platt — the other two times being BOOM!’s Tag and Talent properties. According to the Reporter, the movie will be “a throwback to classic ’80s buddy cop movies in the vein of ‘Lethal Weapon’ and ‘48 HRS.,’ but with a modern spin.”
