GENTLEMAN GHOST.
This may be for kids, but that’s pretty spiffy. Also, it’s awfully neat to see the new Blue Beetle in action - I love the way they handle his transformation here.
And does anyone else get a Venture Bros vibe from this?

The Colors is wonderful and the animation looks like eye-refreshing fun.
Nice stuff!

I’m sorry, but this is all kinds of awesome. Looks great. I was afraid it would be similar to the Super Friends series that’s in the Johnny DC line right now. Very much looking forward to this.

New School Blue Beetle? Old School Green Arrow? PLASTIC MAN?
This is a must see!!!
Anyone know who is doing Batman’s voice?

Oh, wow, that looks awesome.

Batman will be voiced by actor Dietrich Bader (The Drew Carey Show).

William Clark hit the nail on the head. Jaime Reyes and classic Green Arrow? That *does* look pretty cool.

That doesn’t look to bad. Hopefully the writing is just as good.

This is probably getting a better reception than it would have if The Batman hadn’t come before it. The Batman had the unfortunate luck to be the first cartoon after Batman: The Animated Series. This one benifits from not being directly after BTAS.

The Batman’s designs were too out there. The Joker looked like some kind of Bane Joker hybrid. Big hulking Joker?
Joker’s not supposed to be physically intimidating, he’s supposed to be creepy and weird.
I never watched it so I can’t comment beyond that, but I didn’t like the designs of The Batman.
This looks really fun.

Looks better than I thought it would. I’m digging BB and Plas, but not the beardless Ollie.
July 27th, 2008 at 2:36 am
That’s not the joker. The creators have said no joker.
July 28th, 2008 at 11:42 am
“That’s not the joker. The creators have said no joker.”
He was referencing Joker from The Batman, not BatB.

holy jeez that looks awesome.

Oh man, this cartoon looks amazing! I seriously love the retro-style artwork. I can’t wait!!
