Detective Comics artist Dustin Nguyen pays tribute to 28 of Gotham City’s better-known residents — he includes the Batmobile in his count — with this watercolor illustration. I want it.

He left out Jim Gordon! The cad!
On the plus side, he left out Damian.
This is really cool. Anyone know who the little girl on Clayface’s shoulder is?
July 21st, 2008 at 9:05 am
Gordon’s there: in the background, between Batman and Catwoman.

I too thought Gordon and Oracle was missing - until I saw the nifty Batgirl I and II in there. No Jason Todd, tho. Not that I’m complaining.

No Huntress. No Question/Renee Montoya.
Whose the female sitting on Clayface?
And I never really considered Ra’s Al Ghul and Zatanna to be “residents” of Gotham City.

I think the girl on Clayface’s shoulder was an alter ego he took for an episode of Batman: TAS. The girl befriended Robin but was eventually revealed to be a part of Clayface that was trying to split off from the main. I don’t know if that story was inspired by a comic though.

Gorgeous.
Can’t believe no one is bitching about Spoiler’s absence

You aren’t really complaining about something an artist did in his own spare time for fun, are you?
July 21st, 2008 at 11:30 am
I thought the little girl on Clayface’s shoulder was Clayface’s daughter.
I’m not really into batman as other people are, but I noticed that she’s coming out of Clayface, she doesnt have feet because they’re part of clayface.
The episode is on the Batman DVD’s volume four, and called Growing Pains.

I love how he used Annie from TNBA, but no Spiler ?
