Hell, I want to write the thing! As a child growing up in the early '80s, I watched a lot of bad TV and despite the series' flaws, THE GREATEST AMERICAN HERO managed to provide something different, entertaining and yes, fun. Believe it or not. I’m all kinds of pumped for the idea of a GREATEST AMERICAN HERO comic book series. Hell, I want to write the thing!

Yes, the original TV series looks pretty dated (as do most shows from that time period), but the banter and chemistry of Katt, Culp and Selleca is still surprisingly sharp. I loved this show as a kid and I was super excited to see the DVDs, but I can't watch it. The hair, clothing, and topical jokes are pretty thick, unlike I Spy, an even older show that I think holds up well. The main problem was the teenagers that Hinkley taught, they weren't the best actors and everything they say sounds like a cliche now. I'd forgotten just how much of them was in the show.
