Yep, the Hero Initiative has several new auctions up related to the San Diego Comic-Con. The winning bidders can:
–Play on the Marvel or DC softball team in the big annual Marvel vs. DC softball game
–Have steak with Joe Quesada
–Have breakfast and get sketches from David Bullock, Darwyn Cooke and Cameron Stewart
–Hang out with Stan Lee in the harbor (on a boat, of course)
–Have lunch with a former CGC grader

You know, I going to have a laugh here about all the cool comic creators you get to hang out with in these auctions, then the last one is you can have lunch with a guy who used to grade comics. Then I looked at the auction bids and the former grader lunch is the highest bid, twice as much as the other creator activity bids seperately. Goes to show you, keeping your comics in tip-top shape is no laughing matter.

Beheader, one thing I think people tend to forget is that there is a huge number of comic COLLECTORS out there. It’s a point of interest for many, many folks.

Steak with Joe Quesada? Way to give, Mr. Q.
Maybe a ride in a rented Porsche after dinner? All for charity, of course. 
Lunch with the former CGC grader could be really interesting too, if you’re a collector.
