That may have been my doing actually. I was told I could do JLA and Avengers silhouetes but to make the Avengers more vague. To be safe I just went completely vague. They are there, they’re just kinda blobs though whereas the JLA members are pretty recognizeable.

I think it was a through-away concept from Grant Morrison’s “Rock of Ages” story in his JLA run (c. 1997). He then used it again in his JLA Classified run.
