Yes, it’s because of Independence Day, but it’s not a Diamond thing so much as it is a UPS thing. Diamond ships the books as usual, UPS takes an extra day to get things where they’re going.

I don’t understand why new comics are pushed back to Thursday this week? Is it because of Independence Day? If Diamond shipping procedures are so sensitive that one day throws it off, wouldn’t new releases gets pushed back an additional day everytime it’s put out on a Thursday instead of a Wednesday?
