Thom Zahler, who wrote this week’s I ♥ Toys here on Blog@, shares a few more pictures of the Marvel and DC houses his aunts made for him as a kid. I like Aquaman’s pet seal in the picture above, as well as the fact that while Batman appears to be eating dinner up top, Robin is regulated to cleaning the Batmobile down in the Bat cave. Or sitting on it, anyway.

Robin is relegated, not regulated.

I’m more interested in Wonder Woman, lying on that bed in her costume…Mmmm. Does she have her lasso too?

That is the best doll house…er ACTION FIGURE house ever.

Are the bunkbeds for Batman and Robin? Also, I love that there are no stairs in the house so they use a rope ladder to get between floors instead. Innovative!

Best. Aunts. Ever.

As I recall, the Batmobile wasn’t actually part of the Super Action Heroes line, but another Batmobile toy that didn’t fit the figures perfectly. Didn’t matter to us at all, though. If I ever have nieces or nephews, I hope to live up to the standard my Aunts set.
@Goonsquad – Yes, the bunkbeds were for Batman and Robin. There’s a batpole (constructed from a dowel rod and a silver-wrapped Pringles can) that connects their room with the garage.
Both top rooms had skylights so the heroes could fly out, too.

captain marvel seem to be contemplating suicide, sitting on his bed crying.
maybe living above a grown man dancing with a baby seal did his head in.
