Pretty sure that's not true, since they have a category for Best Online Comic. Also, Tom Brevoort's blog did get a nomination in the same category that this mishap happened in, so I think blogs are covered to a certain extent. I think you'd have to find out exactly what “Best Biographical, Historical or Journalistic Presentation” means, but I would think that "Journalistic Presentation" is broad enough to apply to blogs that are more editorial than news reporting. “As far as I know, the categories haven’t been updated since their inception in 1988.”
