The Biography Channel’s Mobsters series will turn its attention to Murder, Inc. tonight, and Neil Kleid’s Brownsville graphic novel will make an appearance.
“The producers approached NBM and I, asking to show some pages from Brownsville on air,” Kleid said in an email. The graphic novel is about the gangsters who were part of “the deadliest hit operation in mafia history, Murder, Inc.” back in the 1930s. Many of the members were Jewish gangsters from the Brooklyn neighborhood of Brownsville.
The show airs at 9 p.m. Eastern, and then Sunday at 1 a.m.
