I thought this was kind of cool … this ad popped up earlier this week after I sent an email via Yahoo Mail:

The ad linked to Marvel.com’s “Required Reading: 10 Essential Incredible Hulk Collections” posting. It’s a nice example of hitting several of the right buttons — advertising to potential new readers who may have seen your recent big-budget flick, advertising comics somewhere big (Yahoo) and using content you’ve already created (a story on your website). I wonder how well it’s working.
