The General

Got this in my email box today from the Federal Government (pictured, above). I knew asking Mark Andrew Smith to guest blog with us was going to come back and bite me. Damn him and his silver tongue:

FEDERAL WARNING #MD001! It was recently brought to the attention of the Federal Government that your website has been featuring and reporting on literature banned by the Magical, Mythical, Mysteries Act of the United Stated of America. An offense punishable by jailtime, death, or repeated groin kicks if deemed an act of treason by secret government tribunal. The personal records of all your employees are under federal review and your site has been placed on super secret probation.

Further reporting on THE AMAZING JOY BUZZARDS, it’s disputed origins, wanted creators Mark Andrew Smith and Daniel Hipp, or any connected adventures or activities will result in at least another warning, if not something seriously, seriously worse. Seriously.

Furthermore, if any of your employees or readership are caught in posession of any PDFs of said banned literature, well…you don’t even want to KNOW what we’ll do. But it’ll be something bad. Not like Michael Jackson BAD, but…NO, wait, TOTALLY like Michael Jackson BAD, but not the song. We’re talking sleepovers and hot milk here.

We are very serious.

END FEDERAL WARNING #MD001

Where is El Campeon when I need him???

If I wasn’t under a government order to cease and desist talking about it, I’d say the book is a great combination of humor, action, quirky fun, rock’n'roll and total mayhem. I’d probably also say check out the links in the post to get a sample of what the book’s like, esp. the PDF.

But like I said, government order, so I’ll have to just plead the fifth …

    Lol, thanks a bunch.
