If Marvel has its way, you’ll have more Hulk next year than you can shake a gamma-irradiated stick at. And apparently more Wolverine, in case you find yourself lacking.
Reporting from the 28th annual Licensing International Expo in New York City, Action-Figure.com finds information on two animated Hulk projects — Hulk: Gamma Corps and Planet Hulk – and Marvel Extreme: Wolverine. Those are in addition to the already-announced Iron Man: Armored Adventures, Wolverine and the X-Men and Marvel Super Hero Squad.
Hulk: Gamma Corps, which is contingent on the movie’s performance, is a TV cartoon that sees the Green Goliath teaming with other gamma-fueled characters, such as She-Hulk and Doc Samson. Planet Hulk is a direct-to-DVD feature from Lions Gate, based on the popular 2007 comic-book storyline.
Details are sketchy on Marvel Extreme: Wolverine, but Action-Figure.com speculates that it’s an adult-oriented direct-to-DVD feature from Lions Gate, ala Warner Bros. Animation’s Justice League: The New Frontier.

Oh hellz yeah.

If Planet Hulk does well, it’s just a matter of time for WWH, or at least I hope so. Peace.

Planet Hulk has the potential to be very freaking sweet. And as for a WWH, well the animated movie could very easily be better than the comic itself. Man this makes my day, just the thought of a planet hulk animated movie…. Now I don’t mind busting down and unloading crates in 100-degree temp so much anymore.

wow, that great, like to see the hulkbuster together again.
interesting on marvel going to nex level of mature animation, with marvel extreme:wolverine.

She-Hulk and Doc Samson I can get excited about. Those are actually interesting characters. Wolverine? Only if he’s in the form of Hugh Jackson lying across my bed.
I am soooo freaking tired of Wolverine.

Extreme! I hope every Marvel Extreme title comes with a free bag of Doritos.

Finally!!! An adult oriented Wolverine dvd! About time. And if your sick of Wolverine, clearly, you don’t know good entertainment.

Extreme! I hope every Marvel Extreme title comes with a free bag of Doritos.
And a snowboard! And Mountain Dew!!!
And if your sick of Wolverine, clearly, you don’t know good entertainment.
Or… you’re just tired of his mug in umpteen titles and one-shots each month. I like the character and would still prefer he weren’t omnipresent. That discussion, however, has been rehashed too many times already.

Nice, nice.
But what about Marvel Zombies? That just needs to be made into an animated film.

Ditto Rich. I like Wolverine buts I’ve now had two decades of hype.

Rich,
I completely agree with “YOUR” opinion about how “YOU’RE” just tired of the over-saturation and use of Wolverine. He IS in entirely too many titles and even though I like him as a character, I hate how he’s being incorporated into almost every major MARVEL title on the market.
Oh, and…I congratulate you on your grammar, as well.

Marvel Extreme: Wolverine is not an animated feature. The link below has more:

I liked Planet Hulk but I don’t think it was good enough to warrant a made-for-DVD movie. I mean it’s not Marvels or Kingdom Come. Heck it’s not even the Death of Superman.

Hope they make a good movie for the Planet Hulk story.

I’m very happy to hear about these. Can’t wait to see Caiera’s design, she always looked so awesome. Makes me wonder if we’ll thus get a SKAAR sequel to Planet Hulk.
I’m a bit less intrigued about Gamma Corps. Their aren’t that many gamma powered super characters. Even counting Hulk’s villains and allies unless we count each Hulk seperately.

Marvel cartoons are usually bad.

Speaking of Wolverine and the X-Men, the Uk gets an advanced premiere in August 2, 2008. Thank god for Youtube!

Can Banner become Hulk at will, rather than when he is angry?
Can he stay Hulk when calm? Seems that way in Planet Hulk.
Is the change due to the hypnosis?
