I have so many fond memories from Firefly, Death At A Funeral and his other work that it’s hard to pick my favorites. Whenever I think of Wash, I think of this moment where the crew are all playing basketball on Serenity: “Oh my God, what could it be? We’re all doomed! Who’s flying this thing?! Oh, right – that would be me. Ah, well, back to work.” – As Wash in the Firefly episode Bushwhacked.

Wow, this took a lot of work and research Tom. Thanks for doing this! I'm behind on my reading, so I've got some catching up to do. I'm also not all that well-versed in my DC history beyond the basics on Bats, Supes, and a few of the other major characters, so this will come in handy. I hope you can keep this up for all 52 issues! It probably wasn't necessary to tell who Supes, Bats, Wondy and Flash are, but no one can accuse you of not being thorough!

Some questions/comments: As you've clearly seen by now, each story's title refers to a line of dialogue in said story. Or even a sound effect(KPLOW! in issue #3, I believe. Hilarious!). I like the concept behind that.

So... Wonder Woman's powerless without her costum... Er, "battle armor"? I'm not a fan of that idea. I don't have memories of the Lynda Carter series, aside from the invisible plane and the show being the start of my sexual awakening as child (oh, I'm sure I'm not alone on that!), but it seems like a dumb idea to me. Certainly inconvenient. Does she wear the "armor" (is it really an armor? Seems a lot more, ahem, "form fitting" to me) under her civilian clothes? If not, where does she keep it? Don't tell me "It's magic, we don't need to explain it!"

Wally's kids. How old are they supposed to be? I think aging in "uncontrollable spurts" is another dumb idea. Could they age the point where they're older than their parents? Dumb, IMO. Has this ever happened to any of the actual heroes called "Flash"? If not, why would it happen to the West kids?

Seven Clayfaces, huh? That's way-y too many. Definitely among my least favorite Bat-villains. At least his appearance here was mercifully brief. I wondered what this "chalice" was about too. I wonder if it'll reappear?

I'm really clueless about Arthurian legend (a personal failing), so I appreciate the notes here about Morgain Le Fay, etc. I hope this Enigma isn't actually Riddler. Seems to fly in the face of his recent appearances in Detective. One question about his SPHERE. We first see it on page 19. Where was he hiding this thing in the previous pages? Odd.

Perhaps I'm jumping the gun, but what brings Engima to Castle Branek in the first place? I know, the dreams. But how does he Morgaine's also had the dreams? How does he know our trinity of heroes, or "keystones" are involved? What's an "Eldrtich Echo?" Guess I'll have to look that one up.

Not sure who that is on the final page either, or how Konvikt, Despero and this Tarot all fit in, but I'm sure we'll find out.

Criticisms and confusion aside, I was really intrigued by this book. I can't wait to read more! I'll try not to ramble this much for all 52 issues, but I'm sure I'll have more questions, Tom. Keep up the great work!
